Biography
Lorraine Davies has always been singing.  Since an early age music has been a big part of her life.  It wasn't until she met her
husband Rob that she started to pursue it as a career.

Lorraine's musical influences has always been female rockers and female singers with a powerful voice.  Some early influences
include Pat Benatar, Laura Branigan, and Bette Midler.

Rob and Lorraine met at a karaoke show and started singing duets together.  It was meeting of the soul and spirit.  From the very
start, Rob new she should be performing as a career.

The first step in Lorraine's career was a product... a CD.  Working with Jim Hopson at Wellcraft Studios in Oshawa, and with
some of the best writers and musicians around, Lorraine's first CD, "A Time for Me" was a reality.  The CD had a country/blues
feel to it, and has received airplay and accolades worldwide.

Rob and Lorraine would work on anything that was musically orientated.  They hosted their own Karaoke Show, and performed
as an acoustic duet.  Once the CD was finished the CD, with the help of friend Scott Crawford, the Too Drunk to Fish Band was
born.  The Too Drunk to Fish Band was a country/rock band with an attitude.  Their shows included covers and originals, all with
a high energy feel.  The band has played over the last number of years at some great festivals, fairs, and venues.  They have also
opened for some of the biggest names in the industry.

Rob and Lorraine also created their own musical performance duet that performs hits from yesterday and today.

Lorraine has also paired up with gold record performer, producer, and engineer, Gary La Barr.  They have a very unique acoustic
vocal performance show.

Lorraine's latest project is the rock band "LaRain."  Along with Gary La Barr and others, this band will perform classic and new
rock covers, as well as originals.

In 2007 Lorraine will be the headliner as well as opening for David Wilcox, Sue Foley, Lee Rocker, and Charlie Major throughout
Ontario.

Lorraine's dream is to tour and play as much and often as possible.  She gets closer to that dream every day.
